Proofs & Approval
18 questions · Seeing your sticker before we print it
For the smoothest experience, we recommend uploading your final artwork and placing your order once it's ready. If you still need to send or change your artwork afterward, just email [email protected] as soon as possible - we can update it as long as your order hasn't entered production yet. Production starts when you approve your proof, or when we haven't heard back within 2 business days of sending it - an unanswered proof may be treated as approved and printed as submitted. So if your art is still on its way, reply to the proof email to tell us (any reply resets the review window) and send the final art as soon as you can.
Yes, as long as your order has not entered production - which happens once you approve your proof, or are deemed to have approved it. Contact [email protected] as soon as possible with the updated artwork or requested changes; you can review the revised proof before approving it for print. After that, further artwork changes may not be possible.
Yes, by default. For custom orders we prepare a digital proof showing the artwork's layout, cut shape, border, and sizing, and email it to you for review before printing begins. Each sticker in your cart has a Digital proof Yes/No choice: leave it on Yes for the preview, or pick No to skip it and print your upload as it is. Either way, if something about the file would print badly we pause and email you first.
Yes - for custom orders we send the proof and wait for your okay before starting production. If we do not hear back within 2 business days of sending it, our Terms let us treat the proof as approved and print the artwork as submitted, so keep an eye out for the email - we send reminders first. The exception is a file we shouldn't print unreviewed, like artwork that's too low-resolution; those wait for you instead.
Proofs are usually sent the same business day or the next. We work Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm Pacific and are closed on U.S. public holidays, so an order placed at or after 6pm on a Friday will usually get its proof on Monday. More complex artwork, requested edits, or unusually high order volume may require additional time.
If something isn't right, just reply with what to change and we'll send an updated one. If we don't hear from you at all, we send reminders during our business hours (Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm Pacific); after that our Terms let us treat the proof as approved and print the artwork as submitted. The window is up to 2 business days, and never more than 5 calendar days, counted from when we send the proof - weekends and holidays don't count against it, and the 5 calendar days is an outer limit so it can never stretch further than that. The exception is an order we shouldn't print unreviewed - artwork that is too low-resolution, a QR code that won't scan at the size you chose, or artwork we can't trace a clean cut line on. Those wait for your answer instead of printing, and we'll keep trying to reach you.
Then we stop and ask rather than printing it. The usual reasons are artwork that's too low-resolution for the size you chose, a QR code that won't scan at that size, or artwork we can't trace a clean cut line on. Your order waits for your answer instead of going to print - the review window doesn't send it to production. We'll keep trying to reach you, and if we still haven't heard back after 5 calendar days we'll cancel the order and refund you in full. We'd rather give your money back than print something you won't be happy with, and you're welcome to reorder whenever suits you.
Absolutely - just reply with what you'd like adjusted and we'll send a revised proof. Most designs are right after one round, and we'll keep going if yours needs another. Each revised proof starts a fresh review window and printing begins when you approve it, so the timeline moves along with the changes. Small size adjustments on the proof don't change your price. For a much bigger size we'll check with you first — a big change may mean reordering at the new size, and you can cancel for a full refund until your proof is approved or deemed approved.
Yes - size, shape, border and more can all still change after you've seen your proof. Tell us what to adjust and we'll send a revised one; each revision starts a fresh review window and printing begins at approval, so the timeline shifts a little with each round.
Yes - border color is easy to change, along with thickness and shape. Tell us on your proof and we'll update it.
Once you approve your proof - or are deemed to have approved it because we didn't hear back in time - your order moves into production and generally can't be cancelled, since it's custom-made and printing has begun. If you need a change, reach out immediately - if printing genuinely hasn't begun we'll always try, though we can't promise it at that point. (We always follow the law on any required cancellations.)
Yes - if your uploaded artwork looks low-resolution or likely to print blurry, we'll flag it and reach out (often with our Enhance tool applied) so you can decide before we print. Our editor also shows a live quality rating the moment you upload.
Your proof shows the colors we'll print, but exact color can look a little different on your screen depending on your monitor's brightness and calibration - screens use RGB light, printing uses CMYK inks. It's the best preview available; just know a physical print can vary slightly from any screen.
It is a digital proof, an on-screen preview showing how your edited artwork, cut shape, border, and sizing are expected to look. It is not a physical printed sample; if you would like to see and feel our material and print quality in person, you can order a sample pack.
Yes — per sticker. In your cart, each custom sticker has a Digital proof choice set to Yes; switch it to No and we print your upload exactly as it is, with no preview step, which is the fastest route. Two things to know: if a sticker is on our hold list — the file is low resolution for its size, a QR code may not scan, a cut line can't be traced, or you asked our team to fix the design — the choice stays on Yes because we won't print it blind; and even with No, if we spot a problem with the file we pause and email you before printing, and if we can't reach you we refund that sticker rather than print it wrong. With a proof, if we don't hear back within 2 business days, our Terms let us treat it as approved and print the artwork as submitted. Sticker packs have no proof step because the design isn't edited or customized.
Contact [email protected] immediately. Once a proof is approved your order moves toward production, so a change is no longer something we can promise - but if printing genuinely has not begun yet we will always try. Customers are responsible for reviewing the spelling, layout, size, and other details shown in the approved proof, so changes may not be possible once production begins; if the issue was caused by our production error, our team will review it and make it right.
No proof is needed — the ready-made designs aren't edited or customized, so there's nothing to review or approve. That's also why sticker packs move to printing faster than custom orders.
Proofs go out during business hours, usually the same or the next business day. Check your spam or promotions folder first; if it isn't there, email [email protected] with your order number and we'll send it again — any reply from you resets the review window, so you won't lose your time to approve.
